Support Music Education | Empower Students Enrich Our Community
Hoff-Barthelson Music School is one of Westchester County’s largest and most respected cultural institutions. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of our community—including parents, students, alumni, trustees, and friends—to sustain and grow our mission.
Your gift creates a lasting impact that helps us:
- Deliver music education of the highest caliber
- Support our world-class faculty and advance teaching excellence
- Provide financial aid and scholarships to students from diverse backgrounds
- Offer free or subsidized community partnerships to students outside of our campus.
All gifts are gratefully recognized. With your support, we can continue to inspire and enrich the lives of aspiring musicians of all ages.
Ways to Give
Annual Fund Support: Each year, approximately 10%-15% of the School’s operating budget is made possible by the generosity of our donors. Contributions to our ArtsWestchester Challenge, Holiday Appeal, Faculty Appreciation Campaign, and Spring Benefit help HBMS fulfill its mission while fostering a warm and inclusive community.
Employer matching gifts can double or triple your impact; while donating appreciated securities or making contributions from Donor Advised Fund or an Independent Retirement Account can offer significant tax advantages and streamline giving.
Named Financial Aid Funds: Honor a loved one by establishing a Named Financial Aid Award to support K-12 students across ages and backgrounds.
Planned Gifts: Bequests and other estate gifts help sustain the School for generations to come.
Special Initiatives and Designated Gifts: Support signature programs such as the Festival Orchestra, Chamber Music, and Jazz Programs; Faculty development; Capital projects .
To make a gift of stock, arrange a planned gift, establish a named fund, or discuss other giving opportunities, please contact the Development Office at development@hbms.org or 914-723-1169.
